Hayes Engineering Works

Kiwi ingenuity comes alive at these rural engineering works made from mud brick and corrugated iron. Hayes Engineering Works, was established in 1895, and by the 1930s had grown into a business with a worldwide reputation, providing farmers with everything from wire strainers to windmills.
